King Duan was so impressed with Xiao-Shan and Qing-Qing that he recommended them to the royal palace and played magic to please CiXi. Things of course were not that simple. King Duan conspired to seize power from CiXi actually, Xiao-Shan and Qing-Qing would be part of his plan.
For feeling at ease, Xiao-Shan told CiXi about King Duan’s conspiracy. CiXi didn’t want the ugly story get aboard, so she decide to kill them off after their mission. At last, Xiao-Shan and Qing-Qing settled the dispute and turned bloodshed into laughter.
